Using NextWake

These terms apply to your use of the NextWake iOS app and this website. By using NextWake, you agree to these terms. “NextWake,” “we,” and “us” refer to the developer of the app.

What NextWake does

NextWake helps you plan recurring wake-up alarms and organize schedule changes, tasks, notes, and preparation for upcoming days. It is a personal planning tool, not a guarantee that an alarm will sound at a specific time.

Alarm scheduling and your responsibility

NextWake registers its own alarms with iOS when alarm access is granted. It displays scheduling status and offers a way to verify upcoming alarms, but alarm delivery depends on iOS, your device, permissions, settings, and successful system registration. No app can promise that every alarm will ring in every circumstance.

• Keep alarm access enabled and review the readiness status in NextWake, especially after changing a schedule.
• NextWake does not inspect or change alarms in Apple's Clock app. You are responsible for reviewing any overlapping Clock alarms.
• Optional task reminders and evening reviews are notifications. They are not backup wake-up alarms.
• NextWake currently schedules actual alarms for a rolling 30-day window. Dates beyond that window are saved and enter scheduling as they approach.

Your schedule and device

You are responsible for the accuracy of the profile, alarm times, day types, and date-specific changes you enter, and for checking that your plan reflects your needs. App information is stored locally on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable use

Use NextWake lawfully and do not deliberately interfere with the app or attempt to access data that is not yours. Nothing in these terms restricts rights that applicable law does not allow us to restrict.

Ownership

The NextWake name, app, visual design, original text, and website materials are owned by the developer or their respective rights holders and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms give you permission to use the app for personal use; they do not transfer ownership to you.

Apple and other third-party terms

If you obtain NextWake through Apple's App Store, your license is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a separate custom license is provided. Apple's services and software are also subject to Apple's applicable terms.

Availability and updates

NextWake may change as iOS and the app are updated. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or availability. We will update these terms if a change requires it.

Disclaimer and limits

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NextWake is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that cannot be excluded by law. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including loss related to an alarm that was not delivered. This section does not exclude liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised as NextWake changes. The current version will be posted on this page with its revision date. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised terms, where that is permitted by law.
