This policy explains how NextWake handles information in its iOS app and on this website. The app is designed to keep your schedule on your device.

Information stored in the app

NextWake stores the information you enter so it can build and display your plan. This can include profile names and settings, alarm times and labels, weekly schedules, date-specific changes, vacation periods, notes, tasks, preparation lists, and alarm scheduling status and history.

If you choose an eligible downloaded song as an alarm sound, NextWake copies the selected audio into the app's local storage and keeps the track details needed for that alarm.

Information NextWake collects or sends

The app has no account system, analytics service, developer backend, or cloud sync. Your profiles, plans, settings, and history remain in the app's local storage; the NextWake developer does not receive a copy of your schedule or notes.

Alarms, notifications, and music permissions

• Alarm access: If you add wake-up alarms, NextWake asks iOS for permission to schedule and manage alarms created by NextWake. It does not inspect or change alarms in the Clock app.
• Notifications: If you enable optional task reminders or evening reviews, NextWake schedules local notifications on your device. These notifications do not replace wake-up alarms.
• Music library: If you select a song, the system picker lets you choose eligible audio stored on your iPhone. The chosen audio is copied locally for use as an alarm tone; it is not uploaded to the NextWake developer.

iOS controls these permissions and delivers alarms and notifications. Apple's own handling of device and system data is governed by Apple's policies and your device settings.

Website information

This website is made from static pages and local image and style files. It does not include an analytics or advertising tracker. When the site is hosted, its hosting provider may process ordinary technical request information, such as an IP address and the page requested, to serve and protect the site. Any host-specific logging depends on the hosting provider and its configuration.

Retention and your choices

You can review, change, or delete information using the controls in NextWake. You can change alarm and notification permissions in iOS Settings. NextWake has no server copy of your app data to retrieve or delete on your behalf. Removing app data from your device may remove the app's local copy; device backup and restore are controlled by iOS.

Changes to this policy

If NextWake's data practices change, this page will be updated with a new revision date. The policy on this page describes the current app behavior as of the date above.
